Catiebelle Bulmer is a full-time mixed media artist and illustrator. A local native of Shohola, Pennsylvania, she returned to the area a few years ago to reconnect with the natural beauty and quiet inspiration of her hometown.

Her work is dedicated to creating safe spaces, both in her art and in the world. Through a combination of ink, pastel, gouache, colored pencil, and acrylic, she explores the relationship between joy and grief, home and belonging, and the juxtaposition of the fantastic and the mundane.

Catiebelle’s art invites viewers into spaces that feel both nostalgically familiar and wondrously enchanted—places to escape to, and places to find oneself within. Her latest work, Cozy Winter Studio Dreams, seeks to reignite the curiosity and optimism often lost in adulthood. These intimate, dreamlike environments serve as mini sanctuaries for rest and preservation—safe spaces in an often turbulent world.
