Paul Plumadore

Since starting to show my artwork again in 2015, I’ve appeared in numerous gallery shows around America including The Northeastern Biennial, Exposure at Ceres Gallery in NYC; and Art of the State (2016, 2017, 2020, 2021) at the State Museum of PA. My solo shows include Where Worlds Collide, AFA Gallery, Scranton, PA; Paper Trail at The Delaware Valley Arts Alliance, Narrowsburg, NY; and PaperWorks at The Shields Center for Visual Art, Marywood University. My work has appeared in the hardcover book Making the Cut -The World’s Best Collage Artists, and a feature interview in ARTKILL/Catskill magazine. I’ve written and illustrated the books Unthinkable, Anomalies, Polly Morfuss, and The Wall, and was co-curator of The Great Wall of Honesdale from 2019 to 2021.

My paper montage art is about mixing unlikely visual images to create something entirely different, often shocking, often humorous. I use surgeon’s scalpels and acid free materials and, almost exclusively, antique printed matter.
