A Pennsylvania native, Nadine Kloss~Gannon resides near picturesque Lake Wallenpaupack with her husband, Mark, and their red fox Labrador, Lola.
Nadine’s passion for photography began at age 14, when she first used her father’s camera the week he unexpectedly passed. Through this medium, she found a unique way to articulate her thoughts and emotions, using imagery as a form of communication beyond words.
When asked about the significance of photography in her life, Nadine explains: “Viewing the world through my camera lens serves as my voice – it allows me to express truthfully what I perceive. Each image is a preserved memory, a moment that might otherwise be lost. While I began photographing for personal fulfillment, I now photograph to share my vision with others. I consider myself an observer by nature, which directly informs my approach as a photographer. I take time to absorb every scene, ensuring that my work authentically reflects my perspective.”
Nadine prioritizes in-camera techniques to capture her subjects, resulting in final images that closely mirror her original view with minimal post-processing. Her diverse portfolio includes cyanotype printing, infrared, digital, and drone photography.
She has attended numerous workshops nationwide and holds a BA in Fine Arts as well as an MFA in Photography and Graphics.
For the past twenty-eight years, Nadine has worked as a flight attendant for United Airlines – a role that has provided her with exceptional opportunities to photograph across a variety of locations she might not otherwise have experienced.
