Working in oil and pastel, Linda Murphy has found inspiration in the countryside
since childhood, when her family would vacation in New England, New York State
and Pennsylvania. “Whether it be a painting of a farm landscape – or of a
particular friendly cow or goat that I stop to pet by the roadside – there is so
much beauty in our local landscape. In the end – I want my paintings to make
people smile.”
