Working in oil and pastel, Linda Murphy has found inspiration in the countryside
since childhood, when her family would vacation in New England, New York State
and Pennsylvania. “Whether it be a painting of a farm landscape, a snowy creek, or a
friendly farm animal that I stop to pet by the roadside – there is so
much beauty in our local landscape. In the end – I want my paintings to remind people of the simple beauty that surrounds us all.”
