“After growing up in New Jersey and in Massachusetts, I attended Philadelphia College of Art where I majored in Illustration.  I moved to NYC where I did pre-computer production art and technical drawings.  Upon relocating to Alberta, Canada, I worked as a scientific illustrator at the Royal Tyrrell Museum of Palaeontology for four years.  After returning to the states, I aquired a Master’s degree in anthropology from Hunter College in NYC and along with local contract archaeology,  I researched Native American rock art in south central Nevada of the Pahranagat Paiutes.

I did a lot of sewing growing up so it was inevitable that I would find my way back to this, and I started making quilts and handbags.   I eventually found my way to NEPA where I reside today with my six companion birds and my mother’s 1938 Singer Featherweight sewing machine, which still works perfectly.
