Elizabeth Johnson-Borowski

A new beginning.  Elizabeth recently retired from her career as an elementary art teacher.  She thoroughly enjoyed her time teaching her students about art history, art making and the appreciation of art. She is aware that there is nothing quite like the joy of seeing students discover their own art success.  After years of encouraging students to explore their creativity, it is time for a new artistic journey of her own.

Elizabeth currently spends her time in either Lake Ariel or in North Wales, PA.  She has a BFA in painting and went on to acquire a M. Ed in order to combine her love of art with the desire to work with students. She was inspired at an early age by her grandfather who produced an extensive amount of work as a self-taught artist after he retired. Many weekends were spent by his side watching and learning.

She is currently enjoying working with pastel, collage and printmaking.  She also works in watercolor, and acrylics.  Elizabeth is inspired by nature, particularly landscapes and the light and colors of the change of seasons.
