I was attracted to lampworking (melting glass with a torch) while viewing a demonstration during an art tour in Putney, Vermont. That was 20 years ago. Research on the subject led me to books and various classes to hone my skills. I am originally from Connecticut and worked in my previous life as a business systems analyst for a health insurance firm. I retired in 2014. Currently residing in Hawley PA, I am happily able to devote my time to my passion for glass and fire as a self-employed artist. My darling husband Bill crafts our silver bead caps and bales and provides lots of support. I hope you like our work.
