Dee Rivera – Mix Media Artist

As a mix media artist things tend to collect around me. At any time there is such an eclectic mix of items on my work bench there is no predicting what the end result will be.
I make one of a kind art that ranges from collages to sculptures made from found objects. I work in old wood, rusty metal, glass and anything else the muse dictates.
My work is a reflection of Caribbean my ancestry, my history and my environment. The pieces tell a story or reflect a memory that resonates with everyday life events.
