Beth Johnson

“After a career in teaching, I finally had the time to dive into creating art full time.  I work with a range of materials, from watercolors and oils to textural elements like spackle and modeling paste. Recently I’ve been drawn to making textural art, which I find freeing and fun compared to traditional painting.

My art is often inspired by nature, especially our flower gardens. The beauty of a single daisy can evoke a smile and sense of joy. For me, art is about connecting with others and sharing a bit of the world as I see it.”
