Every summer the WCAA organizes a group of artists to open their studios to the public and display their work. This is a great way to meet and observe talented local artists. A brochure is published outlining the artists, their work, and directions to their studios. Hundreds of people converge on Wayne County every summer to meet these local artists.

Table Talk is Wayne County Arts Alliance`s seventh annual public artworks project. From the colorful and zany "Wayne Deer" to last year`s "Seat Waves", WCAA`s public art project has been helping to create an annual museum in Wayne County from May to August for everyone to enjoy. This year over 45 WCAA artists have been busy building, designing or re-interpreting a diverse collection of tables that span the spectrum of styles - whimsical, rustic, sculptural, traditional or contemporary and each one is unique.
After being on display during the summer months, the Wayne County Arts Alliance invites the community to attend the gala finale with the Table Talk Art Auction on Saturday August 28 at 7:00 pm at the PPL Wallenpaupak Environmental Learning Center near Hawley, PA. The auction is to benefit the Wayne County Arts Alliance, whose programs and events "enrich the community through the arts".

WCAA offers a monthly writing and creativity circle. Whether creating poetry, writing a novel, or illustrating a children's book, participants can share what they have been working on. All are welcome at any level. What makes the workshop exciting is that we are always learning something new from one another.
Meetings are held on the fourth Saturday of each month from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at the new WCAA office.

In early fall the WCAA sponsors a Writer's Conference where several notable published writers talk about their writing and are available to meet with attendees.

Films run in the spring and fall.
Our goal is to create an annual music and arts event in Honesdale that will attract an increasing number of both local residents and tourists, and to expand the event each year. In accomplishing this, we hope to bring benefit to both the business community and our local residents.
Last year, the festival brought approximately 5000 music & art lovers to Honesdale. This year`s event will be bigger and better!
