Table Talk 2010

Table Talk is Wayne County Arts Alliance's seventh annual summer art project. This year over 45 WCAA artists have been busy building, designing or re-interpreting a diverse collection of tables that span the spectrum of styles – whimsical, rustic, sculptural, traditional or contemporary and each one is unique. Table Talk is a real community event as local businesses sponsor the artworks at various locations throughout Wayne County. Take the tour this summer and see the artrageous work that is the "talk of the town"!

After being on display during the summer months, the Wayne County Arts Alliance invites the community to attend the gala finale with the Table Talk Art Auction on Saturday August 28 at 7:00 pm at the PPL Wallenpaupak Environmental Learning Center near Hawley, PA. The WCAA benefit auction is a fun, fabulous and festive event with art for everyone. The auction is free to the public and everyone is welcome. The doors will open at 6:00 pm for a public preview and the bidding begins at 7:00 pm.

The auction is to benefit the Wayne County Arts Alliance’s, whose programs and events "enrich our community through the arts". The "Table Talk" auction is Wayne County Arts Alliance's major fundraiser and a great way to purchase original art. Please support your favorite "charitable" organization

Open Studio Tour

The Wayne County Arts Alliance's Open Studio Tour, will be held on

July 30 through Aug. 1, 2010 from 11 - 6 PM

The Open Studio Tour features the studios and alternative art spaces of 22 emerging and established artists based in Wayne County, PA. Their creations span the spectrum of art styles from traditional to contemporary. Not sure where to start? Public Hangings

We are currently taking applications from artist members to display their works at our "Main Street Museum" locations. At the present time, we have four community locations: Dime Bank, Pocono Lake Region Chamber of Commerce, Nature’s Grace and Wayne Bank. Each show requires a month commitment from an artist.
