A variety of media and techniques will be explored; special emphasis on drawing skills. Students learn the concept of drawing from a model, including pictures and/or simple objects. Throughout the process young artists are encouraged to develop their initial drawings into finished compositions. Media explored include markers, water-brushed markers, colored pencils, watercolor pencils, oil pastels, watercolor and acrylic paints, as well as scratch art, collage and print making. |
