Instructor: T.BosketHere is a rare chance to learn methods of creating a painting that the great masters of art have used for centuries. Learn to mix colors precisely, control the viscosity of paint, and layer through glazing and scumbling. This will be taught in acrylic but will be very useful to oil painters. Things to bring: a good color copy of a still life you LOVE, one that involves layering of color (13th to the 18th Century). The instructor will bring some too, so don't worry if you can't find one. You may have to paint ON this, so make sure you are OK with that! Consider bringing your favorite brushes although the instructor will supply all of what you need. |
