10 years ago I started an organization called, The Portable Playhouse. We provide a beading art therapy to women & children recovering in hospitals and cancer centers in multi-states. It has been an amazing journey, and we have seen incredible power in healing through the arts. Nestled in the Endless Mountains is our headquarters, we have a unique gift shop and a adult art center called Crows Nest whose donations help our organization. Opening in mid June on the 3rd floor of our building is a womens 'wellness retreat space. We are honored to be able to offer this special space for women to help rejuvenate their spirits. We have many opportunities, small art classes in many different mediums, with all local artists to help bring keep our art program in the hospitals and cancer centers. I have always been interested in the arts, and continue to take classes all through out my adult life. We are thrilled to be here in Northeast Pa, among so many talented artists.
