Heide von Borgwardt paints with a depth of perspective, a mastery of light and the talent of technique which is filled with grace and genius.

"My love for teaching was inspired by mentor artist/teacher Helen Van Wyk. I 'eat, sleep and breathe' paint and know a lifetime is not long enough to get all your ideas on canvas and paper!"

Heide offers classes in oil, watercolor, acrylics, and pastels. She is able to help young and established artists create an effective portfolio and learn successful art marketing strategies.

After a lifetime of study and work Heide is still inspired by the Old Masters; Vermeer is her favorite. "I lean toward Impressionism, I paint in oil on Belgian Linen."
